  • Description

The Golem’s Eye is the second book in the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud.

    Summary of the Book

It has been some time since Nathaniel summoned the djinni Bartimaeus to steal from Simon Lovelace. He is now a professional magician, trying to hold on to his own. When a mysterious monster begins its reign of terror in the city of London, Nathaniel is tasked with finding it. However, his usual demons aren’t enough to fight this creature. He will have to resort to more drastic measures, namely the very djinni who he once made quite mad by summoning him before he could even earn a new name. The Servant of Ptolemy, Bartimaeus of Uruk is back, and this time, he has power over Nathaniel, for he knows his true name. Will the unruly djinni help his summoner, or will he exact revenge?
