Gran Turismo 4

Hey GT headz and gamers, what can I say about GT4.....the BEST racing simulation game ever for the PS2 - and in some ways better than GT5!

Ok, here I go...I've been playing this game since 2006 and still playing it...great cars (road and race types); lovely graphics and visuals (for a PS2); can be played on 1080i settings (only NTSC version); great handling and really in-depth tuning settings for each car - it is a technical game. Know the difference between camber and toe?? Kudos to PD and Kaz (creators of this game). I'm currently playing the entire game on a-spec mode - 24hrs on the Nurbring!!!! wow, it's insane and forget about sleeping for an entire day....this game is addictive and fun!

Couple of issues - lots of Nissan cars, hard to get immense amounts of GT credits (to buy and tune cars), 24 hour races don't have a day-night cycle (like in LeMans races).
But, still a good buy and YES, it's still a wonderful game, in spite of GT5 for the next-gen consoles. After reading this...get it from flipkart now....don't delay. loads of tracks(including legends like deep forest,trail mountain etc),one hell load of cars(700+),
it is the game that most of the car enthusiasts themselves prefer
(if u dont agree u probably arent one)
this is a game about loving cars so it is not for everybody and definitely not for little kids.
for anilkumarbk-dude seriously do some research before posting comments no gamer ever looked down upon this game,"it was a rage then but not now"-are u serious???this is one of the finest games released on ps2(hell u can play it on 1080i).

...a must buy for every hardcore.

This game has been one of the best seller in the PS-1 version. I believe the legacy has continued but there is a bit competition here in PS2 but still this game has been upto is mark.

I had the PS1 version 8 years ago. That game took most of my time in the day. It was the one most played game in those days.

Some cars & tracks have been continued from the PS1 version of it. The diffrence is that the graphics have become more detailed & realistic. Driving is good just as before. The tracks are beautiful more than before.

Drive control & gameplay is good & one of the best.

I strongly recommend this game to all racing lovers.

there are many tracks and many cars. the graphics are realistic and outstanding.
real life circuits exist in the game. (nurburgring nordesheife germany). it has a-spec and
b--spec modes. a-spec mode = drivers mode. b-spec mode = directer's mode. in
directer's mode you are the team manager, just like f1 series , you have to instruct the
racer what to do. the game has two modes
1.arcade mode
2.gran turismo mode
the cars are designed nicely.the game is very easy.arcade mode = quick race mode
gran turismo mode = career mode. this is a cool game.
