The game GTA: San Andreas or Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the sequel to Vice City and tells the story of young Carl Johnson who left the city of Los Santos to find a new life. Terrible happenings in his life however have made it imperative that he return to his place of birth and set things right. The town has gone to ruins with gang wars, police brutality, and unwanted violence plaguing the streets of the once great town. All the wrong elements have escalated out of control and Carl must take it upon himself to set things right again.
The game tells the story of a fighter who must survive the odds stacked against him. Carl must first wipe his past away and right all the wrongs he committed back then. GTA San Andreas tells a brilliant story of a man who must survive and cleanse his city with whatever resources he can use.
The game is primarily targeted at both Casual and Hard-core gamers with its wide open spaces and open world environment which is just right to engage in exploration. The action adventure PS2 game has a Mature rating by ESRB and also carries a PEGI rating of 18 and above for strong language, suggestive themes and excessive violence.
Synopsis and Features:
The game starts off with Carl Johnson finding out that his mother has been murdered. As if this was not traumatic enough, everyone he knows in his hometown of Los Santos is on a destructive path brought on by unfortunate events happening in the town. Carl or CJ as he is known to his friends has been away from Los Santos for over five years now and he returns home only to find himself in the middle of a vicious circle of corruption and deception. He has always been a wanted criminal in the town, and his return does not exactly make things easy for him, in order to regain power in his own hometown, CJ must rise to the top of the criminal world and wrest power away from those less deserving and use it to save his family and friends.
Rockstar North is the developer for all GTA games with Rockstar Games publishing them. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is by far, a bigger improvement over Vice City in terms of graphics, gameplay and overall story. The Single player game is packed with missions and takes you to the fictional island of San Andreas where Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas are the three main cities. Every mission that gets accomplished helps you progress further in the game. The game features a wide variety of missions that range from simple thefts, car-jacking, intimidation and extortion to name a few. The game also has multiplayer elements incorporated into it to help out the avid gamer for when the single player missions get over.
There are a variety of mini games in San Andreas to keep you occupied for hours. You can even use the game’s mechanics to roam about the city and swim in the lakes and seas till you get exhausted. You can challenge the game AI to races and see if you have got what it takes to win, you can demolish areas of the map along with vehicles to rack up your respect on the streets and even intimidate the cops and escape if you have the driving skills. You can even get your hands on some aircrafts and fly them around the wide open map. Flying however is much more complicated with the myriad controls and gauges that need to be observed during flight. Progressing through the game lets you control key areas and command respect from the petty criminals in that area. You also have to defend your own territory against those who would seek to reclaim it. Game updates and wallpapers are available from the main website.

Oh man GTA hahahaha have great memories with this game!
I first played this game at my jiju's house Then I played this game on ps2 when i was like 11 years old After coming from school i run for gaming stations where i only have 10 rs in pocket and get 20 min's to play :) And those 20 mins are incredible in my life.Then i grown up little bit and there is pc in my dad's shop i have cd of Gta San andreass and run to chandigarh to my dad's shop in holidays to play gta but i m dissapointed when game don't runs on that old pc :/
Then i grown up at age of 14 i have my own pc and gta works great on it and i m very happy with this i play day and nite multiplayer mode only u have to download samp(san andreass multiplayer something) just google it.And then i grown up i m 16 now and i left gta :') But cops still cn't catch me and now i have my laptop(sony vaio) have lots of things to do in life but i cn't forget gta in my life GTA foreverrrrrrrrr :)Just bought it nothing more to say :)))))))))

Huge Improvement Over Vice City!!
I have always loves GTA franchise, be it gta-3 or vice city... but San Andreas is a game changer. i loved playing vice city but when ever i played vice there was this feeling that the game was missing something (maybe strong characters may be the environment)it could have been any thing... But when i played "san andreas" for the 1st time, it felt amazing... yes the game does not give the best of the graphics but the game makes up for it by providing the most realistic environment i have ever seen in a games (only half-life Surpass it and Mafia comes close), even GTA4 can not match the standards for "san andreas" realistic environment... i remember the roads, crossings, bridges etc in san andreas like i would remember in my on city(Bangalore)... san andreas is not just a City but its a alive city.... the lead character here is CJ... he goes through the same problem you would expect a small time gang member would go through... CJ is a very strong character and you not only witness but feel his emotions and compaction and become a part of his RISE in the underworld.
In this game you can drive different models of cars, trucks, bikes, scooters, tanks, helicopters, fighter jets to name a few. The game-play(missions) are interesting, u can chose to play a mission or just roam around the city destroying things, killing people, Cops chasing you flying a plane etc... there is endless things to do here.
The game play is one of the best, the map is beautiful & huge, you will hardly get bored of the map, the map comprises three major fictional cities- 1. Los Santos corresponds to Los Angeles, 2. San Fierro corresponds to San Francisco, and 3. Las Venturas corresponds to Las Vegas
I have great memories with this game, i started playing this game when i was only 13. Amazing game, everyone must experience it!!
