This is the Marathi version of the classic self-help book, The Greatest Salesman in the World, written by Og Mandino.
Summary of the Book
The Greatest Salesman in the World narrates the story of Hafid, a poor camel boy who works towards a life of luxury and achieves it. Through his story, the author asserts that it is important to follow certain principles for a successful life. The book begins with a parable about Hafid being taken under the care of a wealthy trader. He is sent to Bethlehem to sell a single robe. But he fails to sell it and gifts it to a poor child on his way back. He is mortified of his act and resolves to apologize to the trader once he gets back home, but his master is on his death bed. The trader leaves behind ten scrolls for him, which stand as ten principles that the author explains are necessary for a good and successful life. The book has very intricately knit themes of mythology and spirituality to bring out a message of inspiration.
About Og Mandino
Augustine "Og" Mandino II was an American author of self-help books. Through his books, Mandino primarily conveyed his thoughts on how every human being should recognize the miracles of life and learn to deal with their daily affairs with grace and confidence. His simple style of writing contributed to his success, and his books sold more than fifty million copies across the world. They have also been translated into several languages. My personal suggestion is that don't read every scrolls in the book, as author suggested go one scroll one month & reading it every day.
