Summary of the Book

Sam I Am likes green eggs and ham. But when he finds a man who thinks he doesn’t, he’s shocked to see that he hasn’t given it a try! He asks him if he’d like to try them on a boat, or with a goat. The doubter tells him that he’d never try them on a boat or with a goat. Sam I Am offers green eggs and ham on a train, and in the rain. But the doubter insists that he won’t try them on a train or in the rain. Sam brings them in a box and with a fox. The doubter tells him he won’t have them in a box or with a fox. But try as he may he can’t send Sam away until he tries green eggs and ham, and proves to Sam I Am that he still doesn’t like them.
