Ormus Cama, her lover, is most affected by this and is constantly looking for his love through music. A childhood friend of Ormus, Rai, narrates their unusual and beautiful story. Their world is about to break and everything is going downhill for them in the real world. The story is a take on the myth of Orpheus.

    Salman Rushdie is a British novelist and essayist. He is the author of Midnight’s Children, his second novel. The novel won the Booker Prize in 1981. His fiction work is usually set in the Indian subcontinent and is said to combine magic realism with historical fiction. His writing is also concerned with many connections, disruptions and migrations between Eastern and Western civilizations.     Wrong thumbnail. Very old edition so book condition is fairly okay. I don't know why the shops haven't exchanged the books with newer editions.
