About Gary Paul Green

Gary Green is the Professor of Community & Environmental Sociology at the Department of Sociology, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Green completed his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri and currently works on the fields of Communities and Urban Sociology and Economic Sociology. He has also authored: Mobilizing Communities: Asset Building as a Community Development Strategy and Introduction to Community Development: Theory, Practice & Service-Learning.
