What a lovely, lovely film! Not a comedy, as stated, but apparently factual. Many of us have, no doubt, heard of the Dadasaheb Phalke film award, but how many of us know who Dadasaheb Phalke really was? How many of us are aware of the fact that the first Indian film and the seed of Bollywood was "Raja Harishchandra"? Wah ! This is what Indian cinema all about..and here is how it started. Beautifully told, the story if the first family of Indian cinema is one of the best pieces of cinema in recent years. It's inspiring, charming and still so real. It leaves the viewer energized, proud, happy and moved. I wish this sort of cinema lasts forever. And yes what acting !
What an amazing movie. I Cant understand a word of Marathi, so the subtitles came in handy. but it really does not matter as the acting is excellent and far above standards. This is a must watch for everyone who loves movies... No matter where you are from... 5/5 stars!
