Summary of the Book

Harry’s psyched for his third year at Hogwarts. He has classes to attend, Quidditch to look forward too and the mere thought of being free of the Dursleys for another year makes him giddy. He may also have a chance to visit the wonderful village of Hogsmeade, but he needs to get a signature on the permission slip from Uncle Vernon. However, things don’t go as smoothly as he hopes. There’s a killer on the loose, his name is Sirius Black. Hogwarts is filled with macabre-looking creatures called Dementors that suck all the happiness around them and they seem to have their eyes set on Harry. And the worst thing is that everyone seems to think Sirius Black is after Harry! After all, Sirius Black was the right hand man of the most terrible Dark Wizard of them all: He Who Must Not Be Named! Can Harry escape the clutches of this mad killer? What chances does a boy wizard have against a Dark Wizard trained by Lord Voldemort?
