This portable video capture card has USB 2.0 port at one end and a removable AV cable set at the other end. The AV cable set includes stereo audio inputs, S-video port and Composite video port.For watching or recording videos on your PC, you can connect the device to the compatible AV cable and insert the Hauppauge USB-Live2 to the USB port. Its indeed a Great Piece.. Love it.. Works Great on My Windows 7 and Ubunutu. I could capture AV from video sources. I am happy with video conversion.
One thing in nowadays, it doesn't support HD resolution. I fear you can't use AV output from HD camcorders. When I used with one of my friend's Sony Camcorder it didn't work
