Everyone experiences a loss at some point in his or her life. In my lifetime I have experienced the loss of my fianci, aunts, uncles, friends, and my father, however, none of this could have prepared me for the death of my son.

Suffering the death of a child is the worst nightmare a parent will ever face. Your life changes forever and you will never be the same person you were before; sadly, that person no longer exists.

This is a true story about life. Of love and loss and the long journey back. Of a child killed before his life began. As I grieved the death of my son, I descended into a sea of darkness, where I remained for five years, until one day I received a special gift. It was a gift of hope and love, a time to step back into my life and put the shattered pieces of my soul back together again.

We will never get over the loss of a child; we gave them life and someone stole that from us. They remain in our hearts forever. However, we have become stronger than we ever wanted to be, and we survived.
