Professor Raj K. Bansal received his Ph.D. from the University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada and M.S. from the University of California, Davis, California, USA. Subsequently he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Research Council (N.R.C.) of Canada at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and a Research Associate at the Mellon Institute of Science, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, Pa., U.S.A.
