His Next Victim

He's a huge man, strong and dangerous. The scar on his face covers the space between his eye and chin. The black rose of death is neatly placed in the mouths of his decapitated victims, placed in a box, and without being noticed, the box is placed with the head of the victim and the black rose of death on the doorsteps of family members. He's angry, and one by one eliminates those who he considers the enemy, but no slaughter of the victims is carried out without the specific instructions of his deceased mother. Clues cannot be located by the detectives. He's too careful to leave clues behind, and eager to please his deceased mother so she'll come back home to him. Only gut instinct by Sergeant Tanner leads the detectives to the predator, and puts Sergeant Tanner and the detectives in a state of shocked horror.
