About J. P. Mittal

J. P. Mittal is a retired Joint Director from Indian Defence Estates Service. He was previously a Civil Engineer by profession. He is also the author of History of Ancient India (A New Version): From 7300 B.C. to 4250 B.C. (Vol. 1) and has compiled all the Cantonment Laws and Rules from 1800 A.D. till date, which is used as a reference book by judges and advocates of all courts in India. Dr Mittal is also a recipient of Humboldt Research Award, Platinum Jubilee Award of ISCA and the esteemed Padma Shri award (2003).
