History Of Jammu And Kashmir: The Making Of The State

At present there is no detailed and fully documented history of the modern state of Jammu and Kashmir. The author purposes to fill up this gap by bringing out a series of volumes chroniclining the history from 1846 A.D. when the state was founded, to 1948 A.d. The first volume is in the hands of the readers.
About Author :
Dr. M L Kapur was born at Jammu on October 17, 1929. After graduating from the local prince of Wales Colelge, he obtained his M.A. Degrees in Economics and History from the Panjab University.
