Horn OK Please - HOPping to Conclusions

Guys, What can I say----HOP is a must read.....I think each one of us should possess this book and its series to come in our book racks.To tell u guys frankly, I hate reading books and what interested me more was the Cause-Mahesh Memorial Trust and The Tibetian SOS that actually drove me to buy this buy.I thought I should just buy this book and by doing so the money goes to these Organizations..That was the whole idea behind getting this book...I am nowhere close to an avid reader, but I was warned by my Sister -Sapnaa Doraiswamy to read this book....She says Div's u should read this book ....why dont u make a start, I guess Impatience is the problem.

This man Kartik Hopper Iyengar has already made waves even before the launch and now just everyone seems to know him.The book is an amazing journey....looks like Chief, Goose and Derek had a wonderful time during their journey.....Its just not been all fun for them...loads of hardship during their journey....but they were determined to make their journey a success come what may!

The best part of the book being.......Its hilarious, the way they have described women from a man's point of view and vice versa, their harships in the Desert of Rajasthan, their fun in Goa and just everythng about the book....every line, every paragraph and every page is loads of humour by itself......I laughed like crazy......I really thought I forget to laugh in the last couple of years.......

What moved me was these guys meeting His Holiness The Dalai Lama ---aren't they totally blessed..how many of us get to meet Dalai Lama and huge cause behind doing this amazing Road trip called a JOURNEY!

I love this book.There's loads of hardship gone in writing this book.......Whatever, its a huge success and I will stand by these causes come what may.....Thats what I have decided after reading this BOOK......HOP ROCKS !!

The penchant for writing a new literary composition of this connoisseur is inspiring. He has surpassed all the intermediate barricades with this book which perfectly harmonizes the balance in the complicated sphere of today's world!
With an outstanding facility of language, he keeps the reader glued all the time.

The best part about this book is that it is all raw. Myriad of emotions hit the reader as he/she flips through the pages. Kudos to chief, goose and Derek for their noble act of adopting kids in Leh. I am sure this book will sweep a wave of renaissance through the entire nation and leave not a single corner unaffected. This book clearly speaks he language of humanity. And the metamorphosis brought about in the souls on seeing life closely is evident in the book. That is indeed touching.

I am pretty sure that his effort of bringing about a change in the present paradigm has taken a flight through 'Horn Ok Please'. And I feel that it is my duty to give a standing ovation to him and Rohit, both of whom worked hard all through the thick and thin to convert their dreams to reality.

I read each and every line and simply loved the time spent in doing that. The power of your magical fingers has already blown winds of change.

Read somewhere that "if you vow to bring smiles to fellow humans ,God will not let your efforts go wasted "..Once I noticed that 50 % of money from the purchase of the book will be donated for charity ,I had no hesitation in owning more than one copy of the same .
Coming back to book ,I think this genre of book writing is perfect for us to lighten ourselves from daily doses of traffic and work loads.This book takes you through a roller coaster ride of humour and witt ..The best part is the lucid narration of story without the flaunting of big heavy english literature .It gives you a feeling as if some friends are sitting over a bon fire and discussing their journey :)
I request you not to borrow and own a copy of the same so that the noble cause behind the publishing of book is not dead :)

Wow ! keep up the good work Kartik !This is just the beginning for you and you have miles to go in the field of book writing
This Book is simply wonderful and well authored .

I do not know Kartik personally. Never spoken with the dude. Never met him or chatted with him. Exchanged a few mails and a few comments on Facebook. That's about it. I speak the truth, the (w)hole truth and nothing but the truth!
(just in case, there is an allegation of me being a friend or being bribed[I wish!!!] to do this review) !

Actually I love blabbering so I thought this was the best place to show off my talent !

This is perhaps the first book of it's kind that I have read and sat through it too! Not my types but hey, I read it completely. I must be really dumb because I am not active on the HOP facebook community that someone mentioned this book is for! I read posts there and then spill tea or whatever all over, laughing hard, at times! I don't even bother to lift that extra finger to like something at times fearing that I would be all over the place making myself seem a like dumnphuk awestruck person !

I did get irritated at times particularly when Kartik kept repeating things about having fooled people into buying the book. But then, that's what so special about this guy and the book. It's raw and in your face. Maybe he's talking in the first person to you about someone who actually fools you into buying things not worth it ! Hah!

As I mentioned somewhere, it's for people who are stuck up and need to undo themselves from the daily rut of posing to be intelligent and leading a farce life! Who would know better than I ! !!!

So once again, it's for a good cause ! And if you cannot read something for a good cause, no issues ! Shut Up and let others do a little bit of good !

The book is hilarious no doubt about that, the author seems to be the person who lives in the edge, I mean really, when you have everything in life, born with silver spoon, it seems to be that there is a empty void fills in your heart, and you will start rooming around the world in the vehicle to find the missing something which you don't know what is it. The book introduces various some deep concept in causal sense, I loved the part where the author explains mind is like a septic tank, we have too many unnecessary negative thougths, the writing is something definitely different, and I am glad to see good indian writers are coming forth with new books.
