David Hernandez won the National Looking Glass Chapbook Competition, and is the recipient of a grant from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation. His poems and drawings have appeared in numerous literary magazines, including "The Southern Review, Other Voices," and "Prairie Schooner."
