HP 430 Laptop (2nd Gen Ci3/ 2GB/ 500GB/ DOS)

This laptop given its current price and specs is ideal for those who want to upgrade to to Intel's next generation of processors. This laptop comes with a 2nd generation of i3 processor, which in my opinion is sufficient for websurfing, MS office etc.

I am using it for last one month and I am pretty much satisfied with its performance but following points are worth mentioning:

1. It might take some time to adjust to its keypad and touchpad....these two major input devices are one of the major drawback of this particular model.

2. It comes with Altec Lansing speakers, needless to say with better sound clarity.

3. Display is moderate as it doesn't have a dedicated graphic card, which I believe is upgradable.

4. Battery backup is satisfactory, with moderate usage under power saver mode, it lasts for more than 4.5 hours.

5. One of the plus point of this model is that it has 3 USB ports, which means greater connectivity to external devices, but sadly HP didn't really improved much here. 2 of the slots are so awkwardly placed close to each other that sometimes you end up using only one.

6. One good point is the HDMI port which comes with this model, hence the ability of connect to LCD TVs.

All in all not a bad deal for this price range, plus although its not important but this model has a kool visual appeal.

PS: I am an average computer user, pls don't take my view as technically sound as it is just a user experience, I hope you'd find it useful.

It has been 3 days and I am using this laptop and I must say the experience is very pleasant . The laptop got delivered on the second day of my order(man I was very much exited about the laptop) I got it in good and working condition.

Now to the laptop feature

1) Intel i3 second generation, ram 3 GB, hard disk 500 GB, man this is so cool..I3 second generation it's really fast..

2) The first thing you notice about the laptop is its screen it's quite moderate but they(HP) could have done better but again at this price i shall say this is good.

3) The second Imp thing with this laptop is the keypad it takes a lil time to adjust with the keypad but once your are adjusted with this it's good.

4)the speakers are outstandingly good altec lencing, you can have a DJ party with these speakers.

5) For the Bluetooth and WiFI I had to struggle for the appropriate but finally I got the right one(atheros)

6) The another best feature about this laptop is the battery backup it's more than 4 hour which is I think more than best..

No wonder why this product has gone "out of order"

This laptop is a value for money and nice performance except for a dedicated graphics card but still able to play games such as batman AS, burnout paradise, cs. If you want to buy an average money saving laptop this is the best. GO for it. A request to make this price little lower. Thank you
