Good buy for
Very impressed with this laptop. Installed Ubuntu 11.10 on it straight out of the box and everything is running great.
The only minor issue being the warranty support when I checked online showed that it was expiring in 10 months and not 12, on the box the manufactured date was that of 2 months ago, so I guess that's why. Not really a bother but still.

Good laptop
This is a quiet good laptop with, cheapest price for this configuration in the market. I purchased this laptop three months back ...it is working great. The features which make this model, at this price, attractive are:-
1. i5 2nd generation
2. 500GB hard disk
3. 3 x USB 2.0 port
4. 1 x HDMI port
5. 14" screen
6. 3hrs battery discharging time
7. Clock speed 2.3 GHz
So, all in all, quite satisfy and with efficient performance. Only some issues which requires attention are:-
1. No operating system pre-loaded
2. All driver you have download from internet and upload.
Rest, I can say....this is the cheap and best model available. Delivery and service of Flipkart is amazing and very fast...Replacement of a product, if any is just at one phone call...Keep up the tempo. Good Luck...

Nice Notebook
I take my laptop to the extremes (multiple OS using VirtualBox) and overall the experience with HP-430 had been very nice. My mom uses it occasionally and is also quite happy/comfortable with it.
Installed Ubuntu 11.10/12.04 and all the devices worked fine. The only gripe is that the TouchPad gets on the way once in a while typing. Had lost hours worth of work a couple of time accidentally. There are some workarounds for it in Ubuntu. [1]
Would have been much better, if Flipkart kept the price the same or lowered it. Probably this is the first time I noticed that the same electronic item increased by such a % with time.

wonderful laptop!!will surely recommend it :) :)
very good product but the problem is,OS won't be given..we need to buy and install windows,or else,if comfortable with using linux OS....even better!!won't get such good configuration for such a good price and thanks to flipkart for in time and safe delivery!!
