HP 802 Large Black Ink Cartridge

To my surprise the small ink is not worth. It shows 120 prints but go only 22 prints (A4 size). Its totally fake thing is written. This is what happen if u buy genuine things they wont give the prints what the company promises. I was taking prints after putting a new cartridge and after 22 pages printer shows the empty sign. Its totally waste compare to the Canon cartridges.

HP 802 Small printer Cartridges ( black & tricolor ) does not even meet the basic requirements of an average consumer. The number of print pages promised by HP is as hollow as a barrel. An average student doing normal homework has to refill the cartridge at least once a month at an additional cost of Rs 450/- to the parents. On top of that, HP recommends a new cartridge every time the old one dries up. Can't understand how many average consumers can afford this. Why HP has come out with this model is well beyond comprehension. Can somebody guess any reason other than sheer profiteering ? Shame on HP for this mass scale cheating.

I would agree to all that the print pages are not waht the company proposes but the number is decent. I generally get 90 - 100 pages of print with 802s black cartridge. I would like to say that i had only once tried to refill the cartridge but didnt get any printout and have been using original cartridges since then. But the print quality is satisfactory as i use it for domestic purposes only. So overall it is a decent buy.

I have been using HP printers for my PC and now laptop, for a long time. Earlier the inks, colour or black, were affordable, in the sense that the number of copies I could get printed were more than what I am getting now for the same price. Perhaps now the quality of inks has vastly improved and therefore the cost of manufacturing has gone up. As the demand for inks is going up, I personally would like the price of inks to come down and get more copies printed for the same price. This will make people not to buy from outside and use only genuine HP inks. This can happen only if the cost of HP inks is made affordable. Using only original HP inks will improve the print quality and the printing heads will not get damaged.

I bought this product just one month way back and as a complementary ink cartridges were free of cost as most of the printer comes with...
I bought 20sheets of glossy paper to take some photo prints from my computer surprisingly the color cartridge went off after 8 prints, during the 8th print the colors were missing so I thought might be this is because of the cartridge was complementary, hence the print was very limited..
Than I purchase new small tricolor-cartridge and installed it back now this time it allows me to take only 10 prints and cartridge once again went off..
I am so frustrated that this is genuine brand and this guys provide fake information to sell a product because as per spec it shows you 100 color sheets i agree that it could be impossible but at least it should be capable to give 50-60 sheet of color output..
Totally a waste buy, print quality is good no doubt but the refilling period is very short...
So I think of you want to use this product for longer term don't buy genuine cartridge because its very costly and the second it does not meet the specs that HP provide..
I am planning to go for refillable ink cartridge I know that will void my warranty but this the only option with...

And finally decision is completely your's but this or not not buy
