This HP Deskjet All-in-One printer has dimensions of 427 x 470 x 249 mm with its trays open and extended and weighs 3.6 kg, making it a sleek device that will fit into your workspace with ease. The body of the HP J510a printer has an attractive flared design that enhances its suave looks. The upper flared compartment houses the scanner unit. The top lid opens up to reveal the scanner bed. Beside the scanner lid, the top panel has the control pad. The cartridges - Black and Tricolor can be installed in the two docks in the cartridge bay which can be accessed by opening the output tray and then opening the cartridge bay door. The Input tray folds down on the Scanner lid in the closed position while the Output tray opens down in the front of the J510a printer and can be extended to accommodate the output pages. overall i find this printer very usefull and worth for money. And a big thanks for flipkart for delivering it promptly. I recommend this everyone.
Very high printing cost
one black & white fully filled cartridge can print an average of 35 pages with simple text matter. and one time refill of black cartridge costs around Rs. 60. so, including the paper cost(35pages x 0.40 = Rs 14), electricity cost (Rs 6) and ink cost (Rs 60) it comes to a total of Rs 2.30 per page of printing. Moreover I have not considered the replacement cost of cartridge after every 2500 pages.
The only good thing is its scanner quality.
Basic multifunction Laser printer of HP & Brother are very good.
Great Printer / Scanner. Good Price
First of all, I got this within 2 days of ordering it online at Flipkart. I followed all instructions in the quick start guide provided and installed and used it on Win 7 without a single problem.
Had 2 power outages while setting up and still had no issues with the setup.
The prints were of great quality in black and white. the colour prints weere not very glossy but then this isnt meant to be a photo printer..not at this price. And while mentioning the price this printer / scanner was 300-400 Rs less expensive at Rs 3699 in Flipkart than in HP world. Ha ha.
The scans at high resolution (600 dpi) in colour were great. Copy function is good too.
