Just awesome service....
I just ordered it on 18th oct evening nd i got it on 20 th morning....its great deal with less price and genuine chanrger from hp and i am doubtfully ordered for hp pavillion dv2000 series which is not mention here...
But its work smoothly....
So that charger is also campatible with hp pavillion dv2000.

Excellent product
I got the material with 2days of order. The product is genuine HP and cheap compared to market price. One problem i faced with this product ; the power cord included in the box is flat pin which require extra round pin converter which cost approx Rs. 50 from market to use the product.
But only suggestion to HP / Flipkart please provide the converter with the box and add the cost to the product. So that we don't have to rush to market after receiving the product.
a better option is there
instead of buying this small pin charger adapter, buy the smart pin one, as:
1. the smart pin charger comes with a smart pin (new models) to small pin (OLD models) converter, with which it will work with both small pin (older) & smart pin (newer) models.
2. This small pin charger is a bit expansive than the smart one.
3. small pin laptop production has been stopped from years.
I am saying this according to my experience as I got smart pin one from flipkart .

Works How It Is Supposed To
Placed an order for it after a bit of research as my Laptop's Model No. was not mentioned in the supported products list. After my research, came to a conclusion that for HP and Compaq there may be only two pin sizes either small or large.
Just match your power requirements (which are mentioned on the adapter of every charger) and go with it.
I did not go with the smart one as I thought there were chances of the connector getting lost (it's just an attachment and thus you will have to be conscious every time you unplug it to see if it's tightly attached).
Also, as everyone has mentioned, it comes with two flat pin chords, so you will have to buy a connector if your power socket does not support such pin types.

I have a hp compac laptop bought in 2006.. dx 6100. the charger pin became a little loose and the laptop wasnt charging. I bought this product , wasnt sure if it wopas compatible with my laptop. but I checked the power consumtion values.
I ordered it on Fri... was expecting it on Sunday as it normally reaches that fast in Delhi. but it reached on Monday. which was fine bcoz I had bought a big pin to small pin smart converter from a near by shop for temp use. the package arived. its original HP. works great.
the only prob is that it has a flat pin so I am taking away a star. i would suggest that till the time you wait for the shipment to arrive go out n buy a flat to round converter.
