Installed in minutes
Delivery: Very happy with the delivery and packaging. Came bubble wrapped with necessary cushioning... way better than I expected.
Product: Installation is easy and got done in 2-3 minutes, just plug in the SATA data and power cables and slide the drive into the 5.25" bay. The box came with a SATA data cable and screws (which I didn't need to use since my cabinet allows screwless installation. I am Happy with the performance of the drive thus far. Will update if anything goes wrong.

When I busted my CD Drive, I decided to go for a cost effective solution. After a lot of research, I finally zeroed on two similarly priced products: ASUS and HP. I had a good experience with HP so went for it and no regrets so far.

I would definitely recommend this product since it is really good and economical too.
It wrote files on my CD in something like 30 secs and it is fast when compared to LG or SONY.
If you are looking for an optical drive then go for this.

Very Economical and nice product
I ordered this product from flipkart on the basis of reviews it has received. It is very nice optical drive which do functions like CD-ROM,CD-RW, DVD-ROM, and DVD-RW effectively and quickly.

Just too good.
What makes this product special is the free Nero Essentials 9 CD that arrives with it. Works as good as any and is dirt cheap. I replaced my faulty drive opening the CPU myself, as I was confident after reading the instruction booklet. Not saying I am recommending it...but it can be done.

Star performer!
I was looking forward to a DVD writer as my computer had an old cd writer. This is the best so far with high speed read/write, fluid ejection speed and easy to install. So far, haven't faced any problems. Thanks to Flipkart for nice packaging and fast delivery.

Great Product, but matte black finish..
Bought this a week and a half back. It's a great product which burns DVD's quite fast. The box also contains Nero 9 which is great from a consumer perspective. I must say though that I haven't installed Nero as I'm quite happy with the built-in features that Win 7 has.
The only down side of this drive is that the black color of the drive is 'matte' finish while my cabinet has a glossy black finish to it. Something for future buyers to note :) it might matter to a few folks who've spent quite...

1mb Buffer but great drive
Its a great drive no complaint with the speed and all but if you are thinking of having this drive for Burnermax than it wont work because its mainly a C version drive and have 1mb buffer memory .. But for other burning stuff this drive is like cheese really awesome ..
