HP Notebook 430 sports an elegant design with its matte surface panel and smooth-to-the-touch body casing. The body-coloured hinges, which hold the screen well, are wedged between the screen and the chassis giving it a nicely contoured shape. Weighing 2.27 kg, the HP 430 is quite portable and mobile. The 14 inch High-Definition LED Display, with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, works wonders with graphics and images. The clarity of the screen is more than apt for official work as well entertainment.The HP 430 comes with a floating-type keyboard for ease of typing and a multi-gesture touchpad which features gestures like pinch-to-zoom, three-finger flick and linear scrolling for enhanced navigation and application control.

Handy deal at very affordable cost!
Good laptop for a very good pricing. Quite a handy buy at this price. But buyers, be a little careful. Laptops with Intel 1st generation Core i3/i5/i7 processor have the problem of heating up a bit more than usual. And I have found this problem in many other brands too.
@Mr. Ketan Pahuja: Don't make any comments without understanding the fact behind it, please. Compaq and HP are made in the same factory, there is no difference in the hardware used. Of course, if you go for high-end HP laptops, the hardware used is definitely better. But that does not mean that low end HP's or Compaq's have bad hardware. It depends on what you need. And I can assure you of what I said, because this fact has been quoted by an authorised service engineer of HP(and Compaq), himself.

i am using this laptop and bought it from flipkart... it is a very good deal.. its been over 4 months now and no problems at all... the speed is good.. keyboard is fine... only the touchpad needs a lil getting used to...!!
my personal advice is you must buy this laptop... dont go for compaq ever.. hp hardware is much better than what they use in compaq... moreover it has hdmi slot.. ideal for watchin movies.. jus love this lappy...!!
