coz all the high end games work on it... LIKE COD BLACK OPS MEDAL OF HONOUR NFS HOT PURSUIT 2010 BATTLEFIELD 3 AND EVEN MW3 WHICH IS THE LATES HIGH GRAPHIC GAMES RELEASED YET ....
AND IF U DONT HAVE COOLING PAD IT REACHES 90D AND THE LAPTOP SHUTS DOWN AUTOMATICALLY FOR SAFETY PURPOSE just after 15 min of gameplay...

Being a honest user I didnt find any problem of getting shut down while playing the games . But ya its true it gets bit hotter while playing the games . u can't play higher graphic GAMES on it by keeping lapi on your legs. Otherwise its okey . Almost every game runs well on it. Good graphic . But the biggest fault of this device has not been mentioned yet so far . biggest prob. It shows some yellowish effect while running the movies on screen . Where it should show Whitish effect . Specially on shining moment of movie . Not every time but on some clips it does not show true colors. Like other lapi does . I spent so much time to find out the solution of this problem but unfortunately there is no solution of it . Do not take it wrong way . It happens on some certain video clips . Otherwise its awesome laptop . Awesome sound( even better than sony device specially the speakers which is mounted on the front side of lapi) . Average battery . Simple topical lapi look . I bought it on January(2012) after looking the reviews on this particular site .

not a great laptop
Its one of the modest product from HP but performance wise this notebook doesn't stand up to the mark. If you are spending this far 41k there are other HP products in the market specially ProBook Series.
PROS:
Good ergonomics
Nice Glossy Display
Clear Speakers
comfortable touchpad
CONS:
heats up too quickly even when doing a norman word processing or video playback
forget about playing games ( even if it boasts a dedicated graphic card but this notebook doesn't seem perfect for playing hardcore games as CPU clock overruns and generates a Lap-Burning Heat
Not a Great Battery life as compared to ProBook series ( yes i have both these Laptops in my family and ProBook 4530s is a clear win over Pavillion G6
Old-school keyboard falls out of place. (yes, not a chiclet keyboard . no numerical keys as well)
OVERALL this laptop isnt a Good Value for money, if You are a GAME FRENZY, go for HP DV6 or else Probook will suit your needs :D
Good laptop for a cheaper price
The laptop is good with a blend of good graphics and nice processing speed. After reading the former comments, I would like to tell that whichever game you play, causes the CPU to process at its best (Turbo Boost), as this feature is similar to overclock, its obvious that the CPU will heat. Buying a cooling pad is not an option, just remove your battery while playing and reduce max. processor state in your power settings, everything will run COOL.
Pros: Good laptop at a better price
Enhanced dual graphics processor (ATI HD 6470M)
Nice processor as compared to its 3rd gen. successor
Good hard disk capacity (640 GB)
Cons: Sometimes display temperature heats up in battery backup
No USB 3.0
I would recommend installing an additional 2GB RAM as I did for better gaming performance and an external Mouse and Keyboard or a Controller will also be better

I had a bit of issue with one of the key at the top right corner which is a bit inclined ,which is quite ok.
And there was delay from the courier people .
but the laptop is a good pick for 40k
