I am not biased but coincidentally I am having too much of hands on experience on HP-Compaq than with any other Laptop brand. At my native I have a Compaq Presario Laptop for 6 years now and no probs so far. At office I have used several HP laptops and now I bought this machine.

I did a very serious market research before opting for this model. I had initially ordered ASUS S56CA-30H which comes with Windows 7HB from another eretail portal (Not Flipkart). But I was duped, I was shipped a show...

This beast comes equipped with a quad core processor and a Radeon 8670M
The Quad Core is more than enough for everyday tasks and also the Radeon 8670 is capable of handling and graphics related workload.

This is the best laptop available in this price range and it comes with windows 8.1 too.

Also the 500gig HDD is enough for the everyday user.
I have bought 3 of these laptops and all of them work smoothly and I use them for LAN parties and they do the job perfectly.

I feel i got a defective peace. Its processing speed is too slow. it takes hell of seconds to open even my computer section , then you can relate how other things would work. its mouse cursor stuck at many times for 2 to 5 mins duration. with time its getting worse and worse. its been only 1 year and the whole system hang and i have to power off to restart.
