HP Pavilion G6-1200TX Laptop (2nd Gen Ci3/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win7 HB/ 1GB Graph)

I purchased this laptop few days back and I must say, this is my best decision. I researched for about 2 weeks before zeroing in on this one. This laptop has some great features along with reasonable price. Add to that, the brand name and good service of HP. About the product :

Pros
* screen is awesome
* graphic card is of good rank and the lappy doesn't heat up
* switchable graphics is a very useful feature. Not many laptops provides it.
* extremely good processing power
* Build quality is also good

Cons
* It comes with HP bloatwares which are useless. Just remove them
* battery backup is just OK. 3 hours in my case

The hp g6 1200tx is a well to do model from hp. I am a highskul student and i got this laptop as my success in class 10 boards. the model isnt quite bang for buck as a i3 with 4 gigs ram and grafixs can be found at lower cost. But hp have done quite a gud job with this one. The model is lite. and talking about battery backup on HIGH PERFORMANCE IT runs for 1 hour and 30 mins and in power saver the minimum is 3hours and 30min and maximum is about 5hours.
talking about built quality . the keys are chicklets and there are two cooling system. one is for grafix and another is for idle use. and this surely helps saving batter.:-p
. next is multitasking. three pages in google chome. gta 4 running at bakground. and music player and live market.
WHOLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! STIILL ITS NOT SLOW.
. now the processor is i3. so guys dont expect to much as like i5. i guess hp should have given an i5.:-(. the core clock is 2.20ghz nd is surely gud for heavy tasking. nd if u r in overclocking then u r welcomed. OVERCLOCK IT TO 3 GHZ.............ND AFTER 3 MONTH BURN UR BATTERY TO HEK:-P HEHEH

NOW ONE OF THE RZN I BOUGHT IT WAS GAMING. YES IF THERE IS ANY GAMER AROUND HERE THEN LET ME TELL U THIS CAN TAKE IN EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING........MAX PAYNE 3 AT DIRECT X 11 SAINT ROW 3RD DIRECT X 11 ND NFS RUN EVRYTHING...............THE LOWES U CN GET IS 13 FPS AND THE HIGHEST 60FPS.

THATS ALL GUYS. I WONT SAY ITS BAD BUT U DONT GET WHAT U PAY. AT 35 GRANDS U CAN SEARCH FOR AN I5.

dear buyer who think to buy the hp product g6 1200tx please dont buy it the hp cannot replace a part when you face a problem so we preffer a purchase a laptop ovf another company .

i facing a problem in my notebook battery since last three months but hp can not provide a solution of that issue my battery back up is 40 min. in 100% charge and hp technical support says that it is a good battery backup and my notebook also not charging properly show massage "plugged in , not charging" they says it is an additional feature of window so please dont buy it...........otherwise you will suffer.

I bought this laptop last january,I play lots of games but the performance of this laptop is awesome. thanks to the sales guy who urged me buy this. only thing which it lacks in is the battery back up,which is just 3 hrs but it depends upon you how you use it. if you are looking for a laptop within its range. just go for it...

Got this a month back and can't complain. Definitely worth the price.
i3 CPU is Responsive,
4GB RAM/500GB HDD is more than enough,
15.6 LED Screen is good.
Windows Home does a decent job
Except for the std 3 Hr battery, it could have made better sense with 5-7 Hrs cell battery.
