HP Pavilion G6-1313AX Laptop (APU Quad Core A6/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win7 HB/ 1GB Graph)

Works straight out of the box and has ample performance for multitasking and CAD applications.I don't play high end games so cannot comment on this model's abilities. I've had AMD processor laptops before and never had any problems.
Overall - a very good laptop computer.

My old laptop is also a HP-AMD laptop. As HP laptops are infamous for its heating I was confused while buying this one.
I can rate this laptop's cooling abilites as 3/5. The most striking feature of this one is all the decent features are available at low price.
Dont see the clock speed as 1500GHz because it is acually quad-core i.e. 4*1500Ghz.
I had a high expectations from speakers because I am hearing Altec speakers and they are awesome.But in this laptop speakers are on both sides of touch pad and are very small compared with my other laptop.I will give speakers 4/5 (but let me remind everyone that they are superb if compare with Dell,Sony etc.)
I had also done a graphic test using 3DMARK11 software and the results were great in this range of budget.
I saw a Avatar-HD movie and made my mind to watch it for few mins just to check display quality but I could not resist myself once I the movie started (even
if I saw it many times)and ended up seeing whole Flick.

And now the dislikes:
1. The UP and DOWN arrow keys are very small.Maybe I am not used to it.
2. Poor webcam

Overall I spend a week over for searching laptops in this range and finally zeroed on this one and I now think this was my best decision.

I am using HP G6 1313ax laptop since last month.Its working great and no issues whatsoever.
Pros:
1- great cpu ! AMD A6 3420 works like gem!It underclocks to 800mhz in power saving mode and overclocks to 2.4 ghz while playing games...
2- Battery life is good ! I get 4 hours battery after continuous ownloading and watching few videos in between.
3- great for gaming ! hell ..even in power saving mode ,with integrated graphics ,it can run Black Ops ,medium setting, 25 FPS. one cannot ask better than this. Crossfire is a pain though.I played NFS the run, Skyrim ,F1 2011, COD MW3 , Black ops... All play very well !
4. its lighter than most laptop.
5-Screen is good, sound is average at its best..
6-Build is sturdy and the screen hinges are quite huge ,so no worries of loose screens and they are made of metal !

CONS
1-Keypad is not chiclet and does not have additional numberpad. But thats nt a grt issue for me.
2-Crossfire not working .. You have to change the setting to "Fixed" , in bios settings. Then it will work
3-Webcam is not upto the mark. But quality is improved while using Skype !
Thats all i can remember.. But u will not regret buying this laptop, considering its price and the value it offers to that pricetag ! Its certainly a PICK !

I bought this laptop around 6 months ago and have been awed by the performance since then.
I would personally recommend that if you have a so so budget and still want a good laptop with most of the features but with a lower brand that's AMD, go for it. This laptop is good for Gaming(I play games on week ends)has a decent battery life and also the sound quality is awesome.Altec Lansing have done a pretty decent job and don't let you down at any point of time.The only thing that i found not good about this laptop is the heating problem. It works good while surfing, doing normal documentation, watching movies, listening songs, video chat but when you play a game, it heats up. So much that you might want to stop playing. but a cooling pad comes handy. so that solves the issue. rest the laptop is fantastic.
So i will list down the Pro's and con's for you guys to hover upon..

PRO's
Value for money
Light weight
Good speakers
Good Graphics Card
Got 3 years extended h/ware warranty

CON's
Small Arow keys
Heating problem while playing high end games

But if asked, i will surely recommend people to buy this one.

The Flipkart listing mentions only the integrated graphics processor but the HP product specifications show "AMD Radeon HD 6520G + 7450M Dual GPU (1 GB DDR3 dedicated)." Check out the complete technical specifications on the HP product page.
Having a dual GPU with 1 GB dedicated memory is pretty impressive for a sub 35K laptop, not to mention a Quad Core processor (which can be easily overclocked using K10Stat to 2.8GHz to play Crysis 2 in Extreme settings!)
I recommend buying this laptop with your eyes closed before it goes out of stock.
