Good for normal user

Large screen and much better resolution than Galaxy Grand 2.
Stock Android is good to customize with our own android apps.
Install Nova/Go Launcher, MX Player (Full HD Videos), Rocket Player (HQ Audio Songs) and then this will turn into amazing gadget. Performance for Games, Movies, Browsing etc are extremely pleasant on this large HD-IPS screen. Even though RAM is less, most of the time 50% RAM is free. Front dual speakers gives wonderful stereo effect compared to Grand 2 mono speaker.

Price should have been around 15k

I was expecting the price around 15k, its not really worth to pay 23k for this device, and its has low resolution of 720p for its bigger 6" display. Better HP reduce the price to 15k. Except price it is a good phablet for those who want to use both phone and tablet, it will easily goes into the pocket.I will defenately going to buy if HP reduces its price to 15k.

Good design, Great performance

Slate 6 has a good battery life. It will last anywhere between 12 to 16 hours. The 2MP front camera works well during video chats.

Excellent Voice Tab by HP

The feautures are really good except that the rear cam is 5MP and in samsung its 8MP. A little lesser price could have created more demand nevertheless still ppl can go for it...
Whatever the cam is it cannot be as good as a DSLR. So nothing to worry on the camera part. It has a quad core processor with 1.2 GHz which is excellent to handle games. No lag and the touch is so smooth just bcoz of multi touch capacitive screen......HD Recording at 1080P and screen resolution is 720p which is amazi...

Got cash to burn ?Buy this

Device is decent but doesn't justify the price at all

5 MP camera too poor
720p display at this size very poor
1gb ram poor
battery drains fast atleast 500 mah more ok ok

I suggest go for samsung tab 3 or grand 2 to or xperia c.

15k is justified price for me.Go home HP u r drunk.

GO FOR NEXUS 7 OR MOTO G.

If u are intention to buy a tab better go for NEXUS 7 (or) to buy a tablet with caliing facility go for MOTO g having 5-inch sharp display with stock android like NEXUS phones(Supports 1080p also) ,since both are having higher specs than this HP slate .
But based on price bracket MOTO g wins!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a great tablet, but its different

Its good tablet but when you compare to the Nexus 7 2013 version its nowhere near that let me highlight the drawbacks of the tablet

only 1 GB RAM, even phones have 2 GB RAM's in this price point
720p display
1.2 Ghz processor (should have 1.5 at least)

Advantages of the tablet
voice calling
expandable memory (to 32GB)
Light and thin tablet

Overall its an average tablet but i prefer the Nexus 7, but if you are into calling onto tablet then you may buy it

Super Phablet!

Its wonderful phone in terms of the body weight, appearance, battery performance, hardware efficiency, etc.

I was amazed to see such a light-weight phablet with a robust body. So far it has not failed me in terms of battery. It's battery lasts almost 18 hours even when I use it for aggressive social media postings.

Apps have been running smoothly. And I dont feel any lag in its performance.

It's quite a gadget!

No value for money!!!!

Price is too high compared to its features. HP should change their pricing strategy if they want to sell this item in India and achieve the market share, else the launch will be a failure.
