I had been using a HTC Radar since December 2011 and had been planning to buy a WP8 device since WP8 was announced in June itself. I was very happy with my Radar....a really brilliant phone on its own but this time wanted to get a Lumia because of all the exclusive apps( Nokia Music, Nokia Drive, City lens etc).

As OS is windows8, performance is more than enough for any smart phone with 1GB RAM n 1.5GHz dual core processor...!!
Application support is but obvious less compared to Android n iOS...If you're great great app lover, i prefer, you choose any other except W8 platform models. As it probably will take 1.5yr minimum to provide as much apps as Android phones.

Flipkart! How do you even do this?! I received the phone within 24 hours of ordering it. Then the piece I got turned out to have a defective battery. So they replaced the phone within 24 hours of raising a complaint. I've never seen service like this anywhere in the world. Hats off, seriously!

Delivery time is quickest that i have ever witnessed. Packaging was excellent and delivered in perfect condition. Booked on Wednesday 4:30 pm and got it delivered on Thursday around 2 pm.
Now coming straight to the Pros and Cons of the phone.

Design: Best of all (Sleek, elegant and comfortable)
Front Camera: Test it to believe (Amazingly WIDE and clear)
Rear Camera: Could have been better (Atleast dual LED Flash)
Battery Backup: Much more efficient than L820 (Lasts upto evening on frequent WhatsApp usage)
Display: L820 has a better touch quality than this (But, GorillaGlass2 makes it TOUGH enough)
Processor/RAM/Speed/Efficiency: How much multi-tasking you do? If continuous WhatsApp, Facebooking and Web Browsing is your daily work ...

This is by far the most beautiful phone I've ever held in my hands. It feels amazing to hold. The soft touch coating at the back is fantastic and the phone overall feels very light and thin. Well done HTC. You've absolutely nailed it as far as the hardware is concerned.

Some thoughts after owning the phone for a week now:

1) The Super LCD 2 screen is gorgeous. Crisp and bright colours. The blacks are not deep black like on AMOLED, but they work well enough. Sunlight readability is average.

I bought this phone @ 21k 2 months back.Though I don’t own it now but I would like to share my experience with this phone.

Pros:
Excellent PPI..I mean its really pixel packed. Touch screen is tremendous as its HTC. Very slim, easy to hold and can be used with one hand as the screen size is also optimum. Processor is good. While playing games like temple run etc. there is no lag. Internet browsing is a treat. It’s really a good experience. I don’t use camera too much from a ph...

first of all the wp8 does not support some basic features, such as
call block option which comes on every smart phones.
a file browser, bought this thing a few days ago and don't know where to look for the bluetooth received files.
an app store which doesn't have any phone specific stuffsss.
Even with the developer version of wp8 installed I didn't get the call and sms block option. (funny with nokia amber update users are enjoying all new features for some weeks now.)
it doesn't support VPN...
