The HTC Desire is a mid-range Android phone and is quite a strong contender in the market. The stylish Desire X uses the Android v4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS and is powered by the impressive 1 GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex-A5 with 768 MB RAM. The phone’s 4 Inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen supports WVGA, 800 x 480 pixel resolution with 16 M colors to give you bright and clear display. The Adreno 203 GPU gives you enhanced graphics that are faster and smoother. A major plus of the Desire X is the user-friendly HTC Sense 4.0 user interface that delivers endless customization and easy navigation.
The Desire X has a 5 Megapixel camera that allows you to capture crisp and clear photos. And with the Video pic feature you don’t have to struggle switching between video and photo mode. Video pic allows you shoot videos and photos at the same time. With features like geo-tagging, autofocus and continuous shot you can enjoy photography on the phone. Design
The slim design of the HTC Desire X grabs attention instantly. The bar shaped phone perfectly fits your palm and is easy to grip. The phone neatly packs a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro USB port in its design. With sensors like G-Sensor and Proximity Sensor you get the best view when you toggle between applications.
Storage and Battery
The Android phone has an internal memory of 4 GB. The memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD and micro SDHC card. The phone’s 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery supports up to 20 hours talktime on the 2G network and up to 10 hours on the 3G network. The phone supports up to 750 hours standby time on 2G and up to 833 hours on 3G.
Connectivity and Features
Connectivity is just a click of a button away as the Desire X comes equipped with GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi. The phone supports tethering using Wi-Fi Hotspot and USB tethering. The A-GPS enabled Desire X has the Google Maps application that makes navigation easy. Bluetooth allows you to transfer music videos and data files to other compatible devices.
The Desire X is equipped with DLNA that allows you to connect various media devices wirelessly. This means that you can view videos, photos or listen to music from your phone on your compatible TV or PC.

The First day experience with Desire X - A Nice Sub 20K Phone
I was in search of a Sub 20K Phone for quiet a long time now.
Finally... I decided to go with Desire X and got it in hand today.
Here are preferences and the reason which lead me to buying Desire X.
1. Should have decent call Quality
2. Should have decent camera which have minimum camera lag and better low ligh snaps for my occasional photography.
3. Should have good music player, Very good Music Playing capability and excellent audio.

->4 inch Super lcd does it's work superbly the display is marvellous!!.I can easily view it under the sunlight.
->1ghz Dual core snapdragon is lightning fast!! I played many highly processor intensive games like asphalt 7,shadow gun and it worked like a charm on the set..

I've placed this order on flipkart on 01/05/13 and got delivered on just on 04/05/13, awesome & reliable delivery.
Pros:
1) RAM (you won't find this RAM in other phone in this range)
2) Camera quality (better even than 8MP of other non-HTC phone)

You can not get better than Desire X around 16k..
Dont worry about anything...Just close your eyes & go for it blindly ..

Great Phone at its current price! It's a STEAL!
Using this phone after Sony Xperia J (drowned that in water!) which I thought was a decent phone for its price but this phone now at around 15,000 is just amazing. No competition!!!
Very Briefly the points:

Screen is really nice, crisp, 4inches, good to hold. The phone is most importantly VERY LIGHT in weight (Don't know why people have missed this in past reviews)
