The HTC Wildfire S sports a 3.2-inch TFT screen with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, which is a step ahead from the measly 240 x 320 pixel resolution of the Wildfire. Like other HTC devices, the Wildfire S is also adorned with the proprietary Sense UI that brings in new features like improved settings in the notification bar and updating of your app drawer as per items downloaded. Also Friend Stream feature in the UI brings all the updates of your friends on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Flickr together in one screen.
A 5 megapixel camera is loaded into the Wildfire S with auto focus and LED flash capabilities, allowing images shot in low light to be clearer and less grainy. You can also record videos through the phone camera at 24 fps.
DesignThis Android device has a metallic finish and small frame making it fit snugly into your palms or pockets. Weighing 105 g, the TFT capacitive touchscreen of the Wildfire S supports 256 K colors and features the regular sensors such as accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
Storage and BatteryThe HTC handset ships with internal memory of 512 MB. The Wildfire S is compatible with microSD 2.0 card, using which the memory of the phone can be expanded up to 32 GB. The battery used in the HTC Wildfire S is a standard 1230 mAh Li-Ion that gives talk time of up to 4 hours and standby time of 120 hours.
Connectivity and FeaturesUsers can access Internet on the Wildfire S through GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi and EDGE. Using Wildfire S for last 9 months...Hi people, I have been using wildfire s for last 9 months...yes, when I bought the phone, I was unhappy about the battery life and the low internal memory. And I almost decided to sell my wildfire s and buy some high end android phone with large internal memory.

'Good' But Not 'Great'If you are one of those who wants people looking at your phone when you take it out of that pouch (You would surely need that, because protection for the screen is minimal) , go for this phone and if looks don't matter to you so much, I would advice you to stay away.

One of the best Android Phones in sub 15K categoryThis is one of the great Android Phones available in sub 15K category. When I say great, I mean overall looks, ease of use, performance and not just how many apps or games the mobile can handle.

Quietly BrilliantI have been using the phone from the last 10months. The Performance ? Well it is just awesome. HTC seriously has a fine fine touch. The display is crystal clear. Take a look at the HTCs resolution and compare it with any other phone you want. HTC is vibrant. I am not being biased here, its just the fact. After all, HTC brought us the WORLDS FIRST TOUCH,KEYPAD+TOUCH,GPS,CAP TOUCH,SMARTPHONE (When the term wasnt used yet),WIRELESS,3G ,4G. HTC freakin Rocks. Apple is just Overrated !

OutdatedAs of 2013, there are much better phones than this (HTC wildfire) phone in similar price range. For given spec, specially very low usable internal memory, this phone is good for nothing. You will be better off buying feature phones instead of HTC wildfire. There is no plus in this phone that I can think of.
