The latest Huawei U8860 is a classy next generation Android Smartphone that comes packed with various multimedia features. The Honor is an elegant touchscreen phone with exciting entertainment features. Powered by 1.4 GHz single-core processor, this smartphone provides easy multi-tasking on the device.
This handset also supports RAM memory of 512 MB and 4 GB ROM. The smartphone runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, which allows smooth navigation of applications. The Gingerbread can also be upgradeable to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The Honor U8860 is powered by 1900 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, which provides a talk time up to 6 hours on 3G. When fully charged the battery delivers a standby time up to 380 hours on 3G.
The handset has an embedded memory of 2 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD and microSDHC cards. The Android phone also features various sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor and Gyro Sensor.
Multimedia
The Huawei Honor is also loaded with a music player which allows you to enjoy songs of your choice. The Pricing is disappointing
when this phone was introduced they said that the price will be less than 15k and I was waiting for this to be available in India for the past three months.But 20k for a brand like Huawei is a little too much (according to me any way) but I still love the specs of this phone. I am going to wait some more time to see if the price drops.
Huawei Honor rocks, love it!!
Just bought the phone last week, and it has been fantastic so far. I was in doubt about Huawei - have heard about them in datacard area, but not for smartphones. So, compared with Samsung, HTC, Nokia and feature-wise, Honor was the best in my 20K budget. Similar features are available at 25K and above from other brands. Here's my honest judgement -
Whats great:
- sleek design, love the textured back cover
- pictures are great with 8 MP
- UI short-cuts are welcome, when phone is locked
- tried traffic manager, it is a really cool app
- the best - battery last for 2-3 days. The phone delivers what the company promises.
Whats not ok
- no extra covers, leather pouch
- no free memory card (had to buy one for 250 bucks)
Overall, go for it.
Not good
I bought it in a shop. I did not like it as the phone reboots sometimes without doing anything. I have not installed additional s/w though.
The battery is pathetic. Need to immediately install some battery saver s/w.
Display is good but what is the use of good display if the phone reboots simply. I got this phone 4 days back and it rebooted about 10 times without any reason
Honor
I also brought Huawei Honor and simply amazed by some features, and You all are right folks brand is not popular, but you know i was surprised to know by shopkeeper that this is the same brand behind Tata sky, Tata photon and many other superlative devices.
at least i am happy that someone is here who can give tough fight to Samsung as earlier i was using Galaxy S+ priced at 22k and Honor is actually a better product at a lesser price.
Kudos Huawei for Honor....hope to see many more such devices.

I grabbed hold of my honor 4 days back..I am smart buyer:)..Started with an apprehension on who is huawei ,but realized i got the best value for money and good features.My battery lasted for 3 days (HOWZ THAT!) Wonderful and big screen.Excellent HD camera with HDR(Only iphone 4S has this!).great software and easy to use..packed with features like internet manager to save and manage my internet cost! Now i am gaming,chatting,browsing as much as i want..what else can you expect from a smartphone!
Yes..brand is new but thanks to huawei for giving us a wonderful choice! Afterall..price is ok folks..
