Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, an Indian pro-independence activist, is well-known and respected for his incredible bravery and patriotism. He was an extraordinary poet, writer and playwright. Hum Hi Hamare Vaali Hain is a compilation of poems and Urdu ghazals he wrote while serving sentence in the Andaman Cellular jail. This album features tracks like Yahin Paaoge, Swadesh Hindustan Hamara, Vyagra Nakra Serp Siha (Shastra Geet) and Bhu Mata Se (Maate Ghar Mein Aaj). These tracks are accompanied by film star Amitabh Bachchan’s wonderful narration.
