Narendra Luther is a former bureaucrat. He is the author of a number of books including Raja Deen Dayal: Prince of Photographers, and a novel, Beyond the Full Circle. He has also translated Sidq Jaisi's Darbaar-e- Durbaar, titled The Nocturnal Court: The Life of a Prince of Hyderabad (Oup, 2004) into English.
