I bought the Aasan iball mobile phone from coimbatore Micro logics Computer store . i saw the advertisements in economic times and i purchased the mobile for Rs.3250/- . My mother is using the mobile for the past 1 month. she says the battery life coming for 6 days (she is not a regular caller may be 4, 5 calls a day but she listened music through its lovely fm (its very loud no phone as like ) after i read the review of this customer i enquired with my mother . she is quite happy with the phone. my mother pressed the sos button infront of others i received the urgent message and i called back her , she answred with a smile she is checking the phone . We have to spent a lot for the smile .

Lured by the idea of a simple and easy to use phone for senior citizens, I bought this phone off Flipkart.com for my mother. Flipkart did a good job of delivering the phone on time. So here are things I hated about this phone

1. Horrible packing. A big cube box with little or no way to easily open it.
2. The phone has a a weird navigation scheme, you are unsure of whether or not to use the i button, the up/down arrows or the answer/hang-up buttons to get to a feature.
3. The WORST part of this phone is the battery life. It just doesnt seem to hold the charge for more than a few hours. This happens despite it being a simple phone (None of the jazz of Android or multimedia or bluetooth). I do not know how the manufacturer can make products like this with such a poor battery life.

Now I am running from pole to post to get the item fixed or returned as it is pretty much unusable.

My advice: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!

Very good service by Flipkart. I ordered this mobile few days ago. I paid full using my credit card. Since this is an online purchase I was very scared of getting cheated. But Flipkart delivered the mobile within 2 days where as the expected delivery time was 4 days.

Mobile phone is really good for senior citizens. I feel 'I ball' should have reduced the keypad a little bit and increase the screensize a little more. It is not possible to come to home screen with one touch of a button. For example if you have navigated to Menu > Messages > inbox, in other phones if you press red button, the screen directly comes to home screen. But here you need to keep pressing back button all the way you came in. Even calling method needs to be improved. You press down button and look for the contact, in other phones once you find the desired contact if you press green button the number gets dialed. But here you need to press twice to dial the contact.

Other wise it is a easy to use good mobile. Price is too high for the kind of features and built. However, handsfree FM radia and easy navigation is really helpful for senior citizens.

I bought this phone for my mom who is 65 years old. She used to use a Nokia phone but always complained about the text size on the screen and the button size. So I got her the iBall Aasaan. The phone was delivered the next day by Flipkart. I agree with some reviews that the navigation is not as simple for example if you start a radio, it doesn't exit to the home screen in a single please of the Call End button. But then my mom rarely uses radio. The large buttons are quite easy for her to dial the numbers she wants. The contacts list is available at a single press of the button. There is a sliding button on the right for locking the keypad (which avoids moments where you spend time just to figure out how to unlock) and a seperate on/off button for a powerful LED torch. Seperate button to start the radio and a button for volume. All these have satisfied my mom as well as myself. Highly recommended.

I bought 2 phones for my parents, almost a year ago from Flipkart. Flipkart service was up to the mark. However, this is not the case with the product. I am writing this feedback so late, so as to give an unbiased product feedback (+partially i wish no one else should waste money on this product). List of problems faced:
1. One of the phones started malfunctioning within 30 days(Flipkart replaced it promptly), however this replaced phone also has started showing problem after being used for @ 7 months. Second phone is now out of service after @ 10 months of use.
2. Gets discharged after almost 6-7 hrs even if it is not being used.
3. Call end button does not function most of the times (seems like a software problem)
4. After a call ends, phone automatically displays the last called number. it does not go to its home screen (even if you try doing so)
5. Gets heated up after almost 10 minutes of use.
6. Deal breaker - screen on both phones now shows garbled texts (phone was not dropped, no physical impacts, no exposure to moisture etc)

Overall - Frustrating experience with this product. Its a non reliable mobile, and will not fulfill the task we think it needs to do i.e provide connectivity with parents incase of trouble. In my opinion its a total waste of money.
