This wired networking Router is ideal for basic business, office and home networking amenities. The iBall ADSL2 is a convenient gateway to the Internet or Ethernet for enterprise and entertainment. The IB-LR6111A comes equipped with a Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) server which takes care of its configuration on your PC.
The Router complies with the latest ADSL and IEEE 802.3 Protocols to give you seamless Internet connection and wide network coverage. The iBall ADSL2 wired Router comes equipped with a series of firewall, making sure that your network is safe from various Internet threats like phishing and scams.
Design
This iBall Router is lightweight, and is designed in a sleek horizontal square form factor can be placed comfortably on a table. The front panel of the Router sports 5 LED indicators. These display power status, ADSL status, LAN port indicators, and USB. The dimensions of this router are 174 x 120 x 29 mm. To enhance your networking experience, the iBall Internet gear lets you connect various devices through Ethernet cables. The rear panel of this Router is embedded with 1 RJ11 WAN port, 1 RJ45 LAN port and 1 USB port.
Connectivity and Security
An advantageous feature of this Router is that it conforms to latest ADSL standards for superior performance up to 24 Mbps downstream. This iBall networking rig also complies with IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u Protocols delivering a decent performance.
This iBall Router is integrated with major security features that include a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, Network Address Translation (NAT) as well as a Packet filter. These features constantly monitor your Internet traffic and keep your computer protected from viruses and other security threats.
Features
The iBall ADSL2 Router is equipped with IGMP snooping which is an Internet Group Management Protocol that allows a network switch to 'listen' to conversations between hosts and Routers. This, in turn, further assists in keeping a track of multicast or information traffic.
The integrated Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server of this Router helps manage Internet Protocol networks that must be configured before they can communicate with other hosts connected to your Router. Furthermore, the Router also has the option of Web Based management control.

better choose a cisco or belkin or even netgear will do fine
bought this product for just for tweaking purposes...
so if you want to set up a good network at home and share your printer over your Wlan or just lan better go for something other..i suggest a cisco or a belkin.
the usb port here is misleading just like the dlink one. it is not for adding a normal usb external HDD to ypur network via the router...i thought to try that feature with this one as this costs 1k and the cisco one costs 5k. well misleading it is..this usb port is just for a host who doesnt have a Network card, can u find any pc without a NIC!!!!

Wonderful performance of iBall Router!
I have been using iBall ADSL2 Router since 1st Jan 2012. I was not sure about the performance of this modem. But after installing this sleek and compact modem, I found that it is far better than BSNL's modem. The box contained the router, cables, drivers CD, and a manual.
Once again, I sincerely appreciate the packaging and prompt service of the Flipkart team. They are really doing very well.

Awesome Product, If you need a Router with Modem
I'm using this product for the last 3 years and i'm happy with it.
The service from iBall is great. I had got my modem replaced all the way, when its broke down due to thunder. They replaced it without any delay.
It works 24X7 without fatigue and heat generation.
