iBall Groovy In-the-ear Headset

While making a choice between nokia bluetooth headset and iball groovy, I was sure about the quality of nokia product but a bit apprehensive about the iball product. What convinced me to buy the groovy is obviously its price which is the cheapest among all the bt headsets and a couple of good reviews about its bass and sound quality. Now let me tell the truth or rather what I, a bit of audiophile, feel. First the sound quality...volume is great but its too noisy and not clear..i'd rate it 5/10. And here comes the biggest disappointment..bass is almost 0 when paired with a mobile and lil better with a laptop...i'd rate it 1/10..so u can see now that my dreams of enjoying wireless music are completely shattered :( Though I can still enjoy my movies on laptop a bit...Having said it, what i feel is that one should put 1200 bucks more and buy the nokia bt headset if they really want to enjoy wireless music and comfort...and oh yes..COMFORT the biggest factor that makes a good headset is lacking. Though groovy design seems to be groovy enough but trust me u'll start having headache within 30 mins of wearing it...It feels like a cheap china product on back of ur neck so i dont even feel like sporting it in my office as opposed to what i could've done with a more classy nokia bh-505 or for that instance motorola s9...ok i think i've said enough now...to summarize my ratings..

Design - very uncomfortable to put on..bad design (2/10)
Sound quality - very noisy with statics... >.< (5/10)
Volume - can be increased to a very noisy level... (6/10)
Bass - Guess what, iball ppl dont know a thing about bass >.< (1/10)
Functionality - for me everything works fine (9/10)
Placement and the feel of control buttons...very annoying and cheap plastic feel... disliked it.. (1/10)
battery life - ok .. (7/10)

So u can see that according to me, I dint get the worth of my money and m really flustered... could've done with little more investment... :(

Well I bought it after some good ratings and reviews on the product. I must admit I'm not a big fan of iball products. More often than not I have found them short on promise.
Anyways I bought this as this is the cheapest bluetooth headset avaialable.
Its performance with a mobile phone is below satisfactory. If you're listening to music from your phone it has a lot of static sound which reminds you of radio sets of old times. Even at a distance of 2 m the noise was too much.
But then I used it with my laptop and it did help to decrease my disappointment. Wont say it was great but then if you look at price you can't expect much. The bass is not that great.
On a positive side volume is nice when using with a laptop.
However the change song functionality is not working for me on either the phone or laptop.
Anyone who faced the same issue but could resolve it please do post

i ball groovy is nice for people who want just for casual music listening, butttttttttt for people who want to experience real music or xploding music quality i would not recommend it to them...!!! 3.5/5
