Ict In Childhood Education

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can play an important role in optimising education. ICT may support a pupil's learning processes by accounting for initial comeptence or learning style, help the teaching in planning each pupil's learning progress and results, present clear didactic pictures of individual progress to both pupil and teacher, assist teacher and school staff in administrating and organising teaching processes. This book explains how ICT can contribute to children's learning, how it can be integrated into a play based curriculum and how it relates to key areas of learning such as collaboration, communication, exploration and socio-dramatic play.
