An Idiot, Placements And IntervYou

One of my friends from Chennai read this book and said that it was worth a read. So, I ordered it and started reading on friday night. I thought i would read a few pages and continue the next day. But the author narrated in such a beautiful way that i was glued to the book.

Though it had lots of information regarding placements and interviews which was not very useful for me(I passed engineering in 2009 and working for a MNC). I actually like the way the author entertains the readers and infuses readers with necessary knowledge.

I recommend this book for every engineering students. As the 'About the book' section claims, you get the feeling that the author is a very good friend of yours.

Surprisingly, the book is dedicated to the girl that author has loved and lost. and the first five pages talk about why the author chose to write an unusual book on placements and interviews. Let me not spoil the surprise.

Bottom line - worth reading.

When you concentrate all your negative forces on something, you can create a positive success. Author proved it with this book.
And coming to the book, the content would be really useful to any graduate in search of a job. Unlike the monotonous books of this genre, it is entertaining too. It can guide you like a senior in your college does. Good book I say.

There might be hundreds of books out there, but this book is entirely different. Entirely. There is love in it, there is fun, there is sadness, there is friendship, there is knowledge, there is inspiration etc. etc. etc. and everything. This book, according to me, is true definition of creativity. Lots of gyaan taught in a very lucid, entertaining way.

When every other so-called young writers are busy writing mediocre love stories, it takes guts to write an unusual book on campus interviews so that it can help thousands of clueless engg students in our country.Thanks to The times of India for publishing this kind of different book and encouraging creativity.

What i liked the most is 'Narration'. It is too good and you wont find a single moment where you'll get bored. The book is racy and keeps you glued. you cant help but finish the book in one read.

Also, there were too many instances in the book where I could identify myself with the author. And I am sure that everybody can relate to something or the other. You can read the book just for the fun of it or to gain knowledge. Either way, it rocks! I have, in fact, bought 7 books and gifted to my friends and cousins.

I hope the author comes up with a full fledged loved story in his next book, bcoz honestly, he is too good writing emotional stuff. The first two pages brought tears in my eyes. He can make you laugh and cry, so well. And he writes straight from his heart. Hats off to you Toffee!!

Well these days getting a job is as difficult as getting married to the girl you love.
I have seen few helpful books in this category and this can be counted.

For Engineering folks:
The book will guide students and give an idea of how his/her interview is going to be or helps them plan and prepare properly.
Quantities of qualities required for success in an interview were well explained in an entertaining way.

Professionals will see it as a reminder of their beautiful college life , the ideas and goals they had ... which in turn may turn your thoughts to how your life has been since you left college and how successful you are in chasing your dreams

How much do i wish the book would have been out before i completed my placements i would be in a much better place.............better late than never ....loved the book ,the style in which its written ,specially the beginning of book u can't guess the book is about placements ........and am anxiously waiting for the second book...........which am sure gonna be fully fictional....good work .... keep it up!!..... :D
