good to read,very helpful for competitions
i think this is the best book on gs i have ever come across.content is written in a very lucid and easy to understand manner.the biggest thing is it covers a broad spectrum of topic ranging from economy to polity and other relevant areas.If u r preparing for ies,this is the best book to follow.
the flip side is that you dont get to know in-depth on various topics of interest...overall worth buying

it is good one for revision. and a guide to show you right path to study for IES. just a fine with short and sweet notes. but not sufficient since it can only be used for revision and not for study thoroughly.

Good Book Prompt Delivery
The book is quite good based on the recent general knowledge questions asked in the general abilities papers. Adequate for the PSUs. Also the timely delivery of the and good packaging of flipkart is a plus.

a worthy buy
it is a great book with a genuine content, for all the ies aspirants.............a great buy for a last minute revision.........flipkart was excellent at their servic...,recieved the book within the pre defined time....one of the books had missing pages ...flipkart returned the book within 2 days..great !!!

Best book for prep. of IES and other competitive exams
This book is really helpful.............Covers full syllabus based on last 10-15 years analysis of IES general studies paper
But one thing is not available in this book.........Indian economy is not covered........I don't know why......When i Attended the Made easy coaching few years ago in coaching material there is a separate book of Indian economy ....here in this book..............GK,Indian history,Indian and world geography,life science and Indian polity is covered in very good manner .....

MUST BUY IF U WANT CLEAR GK IN PSU'S ND IES
This book describes each thing in detail and cover almost every topics that is necessary for PSU'S and IES exam. After reading this book for a week i just wrote SAIL exam, and i did answer some questions that wasn't the case before . After that i just went through the book again and i found that most of answers are there in this book. I feel this book is essential to crack psu's. The quality of the paper isn't that good , a few pages are looking blur.Anyhow its a good book . Regrading flip...

very good book.. must buy if you are preparing for PSU
the presentation is really good. all the topics are covered in-depth. Only cone for a PSU aspirant is that the pattern is not "Question followed by answer" type. so it will be difficult to check if u remember as the answers are provided in the passage itself. so my suggestion is to buy this book also: General Studies Topicwise Solved Multiple Choice Questions for IES PSUs and Other UPSC Competitive Exams by Singh B-Made Easy Publications - New Delhi
