Mr. Kalam has written a brilliant, practical and very inspiring book. It must be read not only by youth but each and every person of the country. The ideas suggested in the books are practical and will help a lot in acheiving the target of making our country a develpoed nation. I really liked how beautifully the importance of Role Models and making of Knowledge society and emphasis on moral values is described.
Mr Abdul Kalam is truly a visionary leader and and in the same way, has mentioned the importance of vision in life and with belief in oneself.
I have read one beautiful line somewhere that, "One great idea in a book can change your life forever." This book is full of many those types of ideas.
I am inspired by this book and want everyone to be inspired.
In this country which is so full of mindless people , this book comes about as a gust of refreshing air ; generations are being brought up without inherent values , without moral ethics and most importantly without noble targets for future in mind !
This is the book one has to read to understand what a 'thinking' person is all about , how an imaginative mind can achieve things that tech-savvy morons cannot. Its hard to explain why India is not producing Nobel laureates in-spite of the mad rush for a seat in IITs every year , but Mr . Kalam explains it all .
The absence of proper 'role models' are doing us Indians in ; we are reluctant to the idea of 'critical thinking' , just hankering after numerous elite degree won't be good enough to give us a place in the list of 'developed' nations . Illustrating his views with numerous examples of fine quality , Mr.Kalam has given us a book that we should cherish reading ; this book should lift the morale of many a frustrated soul . Kudos Mr.Kalam !
Ignited minds clearly describes about the power of India's youth and how India can be a developed nation if we use power of minds of the youth of india. He clearly writes in his book about the children of tody who are the future of the country and the citizen of tomorrow. The introduction page itself will give you the total discription of how Abdul Kalam is close to the children. How closely he heard the lecture given by Ms.Thakkar about the voilence which is spreading in the world today.
His total meeting with the students studying in the universities and in the different different school, what ques they asked and how he gave the answer? And believe me the question and answer itself will give you a lot of experience about the children of world, what they expect from india, what they want to do for India. Their ideas about the development of India.
And finally his dreams about India which is almost coming true.and the most important thing about what he expect for the children of today for hios dream to come true

Mr. Kalam writes with a commitment to a developed India, where development is not just material and scientific, but also holistic and spiritual.
This book is highly readable; the author has cogently and concisely expressed his Idea.
I personally subscribe religiously to Mr Kalam's views. But what I find Odd in this book is the numerous occasions where there are references made to the Almighty. The things should be left in his/her hand.
Although he used,on many occasions, the examples figuratively. Its gives a sense of escapism somewhere.
Otherwise the book is a good read.
Writing skills,as for Mr. Kalam is a simple job.
I'm now reading the book, this is very supportive for us and I think that this book will give us great moral support for our dai...
