The best of this series!

this book is the best book in this series. it has all the elements we desire. the love element , the fight, the mystery, almost everything.
The idea of portraying a god as the evolution of a human in to some one greater is something i have already gone through when i read a HINDI NOVEL on Krishna from some eminent hindi writer. But nicely weaved and presented.

Overall its a treat to read this book!

I did not only read it, I lived it!

I had heard that this book contradicts the hindu mythology. I am unaware of the flaws. I read this book as a work of fiction and being unaware of the story of shiva found the book very interesting since the first page. As the book progresses the story starts building and it keeps building till the end of the book. The book is incomplete in the sense that the remaining part is continued in the second part of the series which I am yet to read. The ending was at such a juncture that I am helpless...

Awesome book, poor eBook implementation

The book is very well written and very good concepts!
Hard to put the book down.

However, I am reading the eBook version using the FlipKart eBook app and the book is full of mistakes. Looks like whoever converted it into an eBook did not care to go back and correct typos.
Or, they might have just scanned and done an OCR and not corrected it.

A good read if you can digest "God" as someone who actually lived !!

My sincere advise to those who are still waiting to get a hands on the copy would be: read only if you can visualize "God" as someone who actually roamed this world just like you and me ! He too does experience emotions just like us and he can make mistakes as well - evident from the other puranas and religious works if you observe closely. The novel focuses on Lord Shiva (who is the second incarnation of Lord Rudra) and is out here to clean the mess caused due to an over-belief is something ...

Brilliant Work

The book starts with an a confusion about a decision and ends with again a decision to be taken for the future action and the huge consequence it can have.
The book clearly depicts the problems faced by a leader in whom people have blind faith and how his decision can effect the life of everybody. Being different does not always mean that the thing is evil. Good and evil are just people perception of looking at the thing.
Author has perfectly described the situations giving elaborate descript...

Very well written and relevant with today's modern life. we are so judgmental now a days that everything looks evil. we need to be balanced and open to different prospective.

A real page turner!

Fantastic writing and presentation of a very delicate situation where shiva is portrayed as human and the godly nature of him shown from the very nascent stage. Would be one of the books one shouldn't miss! Proud to have an Indian write this!

The first book of the Shiva trilogy!!! Captivates you from page 1.......

Shiva Trilogy is a masterpiece by Amish. Anyone with even the slightest idea about Shiva -the great Indian God- will simply love this one. This book and the other two of the Trilogy will sweep u off your feet. You will also have to keep all ur previous knowledge and notions about Shiva aside, when u dive into Amish's story. This is because Amish has portrayed Shiva and his story in a very different manner. His characters are all human, including Shiva.... they eat, drink, love, get injured, a...
