Perfect and Right

This is a simple tale told in a mesmerizing way by Shakti. The characters are well sketched and presented wonderfully. So wonderfully, that you'd want to become one of the characters.

Go ahead and read this one and you will love it.

A Perfect Weekend Read

As debut novels go, this is an excellent one. It reflects the mediatized times we live in, the way we've turned cynical and yet find in ourselves a ray of romance and hope.

This little book is for everyone who recognizes this spirit and enjoys a light, lovely read. Very well written, it's a book you can relate to. Pick it up for a weekend spent with a coffee (or a cocktail) or on a flight, this one will leave you with a smile. :)

Light n entertaining

I loved the characters - Tanya is just the typical single, independent, hard working and self conscious women that we see a lot of these days. Rahul - on the other hand is not like any other guy we know or meet but a rare specimen.

The first 2 chapters were not my favorite but after flipping those pages I couldn't put the book down.

It's a short, happy read. and I recommend it to all women and travellers and lovers and...

Dreamy and Delightful.. get your hands on it!

Its a dreamy story about 2 opposites getting attracted to each other, building a relationship gradually and creating the magic of love with a reality show as the backdrop. Yes, this book brings out the 'poet' in me.
I promise you, when you end this book and shut it.. you will put the book down, smile for 30 seconds, let out a sigh and will want to either fall in love ASAP or go and hug your respective partner. A beautifully written story, vividly crafted characters, detailed yet not stretche...

Easy and relaxed reading.

Imperfect Mr. Right is such a refreshing read just because it's so much better than what other Indian authors have to offer in this genre. It's a well paced, smooth read.. perfect for a Sunday afternoon or a relaxed vacation.
The characters are well defined and the story progresses effortlessly. The lead pair seems complex but we all know someone who reminds us of Tanya and Rahul.
Perfect for gifting to the women in your life. :)
Can't wait for Shakti's next!!

Brilliant Read....Loved it!!!

Imperfect Mr.Right is an excellent free flowing novel. Once you start reading it, you just cant stop till you have finished. The book has repeat value. I can say that because I read it twice in 3 days. The flow is smooth, language is crisp, and the story is fresh and original. The characterization is the best part. Every character is uniquely described. The protagonists Rahul and Tanya, are people whom we can relate to.

All in all a great attempt by Shakti Salgaokar, and hats off to her. One...

Perfect Read

Its difficult to believe that this is author's first novel. I've read many books this year but this one is one of my favorite book. If an author can make you visualize things or being part of the particular book then it deserve 5 stars. It was difficult to keep it down. You can read it in one go because you wouldn't want to put it down. Overall a very entertaining and interesting book based on reality TV shows which was actually hatke. I still can't get over Rahul and Tanya. Wonderful charact...

Feel like falling in Love ...

A compelling ,engrossing, racy read! Wanted to finish it start to finish but had to settle for 2 sittings! A very 'Indian Mills n Boon'love story ,identifying with the present times. An excellent story teller Shakti manages to make you 'live' the character.
She could almost be a psychoanalyst! lol..

A must read for the true dreamer and lover of romanticism..
