Maintaining security within the land as diverse as India is quite a challenge, and the book also delves into the past issues and draws perspectives on the current scenarios. Order and peace has to be maintained in different regions of the country and disputes in this context have been detailed. With India being augured as a global power in the years to come, the book asserts that the internal security is intact, which would reflect on the nation’s growth globally. About the Author
Dr Shrikant Paranjpe is an Indian author. He is a Fullbright Fellow at the George Washington University, Visiting Professor at the Colorado College and Professor in the Department of Defense and Strategic Studies at the University of Pune. Dr Shrikant has also authored India and South Asia since 1971, A Peace Agenda for Indian Foreign Policy, SAARC Parliament, US Non-proliferation Policy in Action: South Asia and Western India: History, Society and Culture among many other books.
