Veena Garg is an esteemed Indian educationist, psychologist and writer. Her way of conceptualizing psychology in an Indian context is unique and widely appreciated. She has completed her B. Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Psychology. She has been honoured with the Young Psychologist Award and Dr. Ambedkar Puraskar among many other awards. She has also authored Human Rights Perspectives: A brief Survey and Changing Role and Status of Women among other works.
