*To me this book serves no purpose
    Review by GJ
I am an IT person and bought this book to help me better understand functions/issues/responsibilities/problems of a typical bank/Financial Institution.
I bought this book from a local store yesterday and started with Part 3 Financial Intermediaries.

The subject covered in this book could have been useful to me but the material seems to be copied from some law or policy book with little intervention from the author. To me the author has just listed the laws and policies related to the subject in question without any effort to explain it to the reader or present it in easy-to-digest manner. The chapter I tried to read was so dry that I don't think I'd be able to finish the chapter. I hope I am able to return the book.

With my little understanding of the subject, I think this book would only serve as a reference book for laws/regulations for people working in appropriate positions. On second thought, if I were that person, I would refer to material published directly by the authorities.

p.s. I am one of those people who are too lazy to do anything extra like making an effort of writing a review. This means, material of this book was so bad that I had to give up on my laziness.
