Description

In his international blockbusters The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown masterfully fused history, art, codes, and symbols. In this riveting new thriller, Brown returns to his element and has crafted his highest-stakes novel to date. In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces . . . Dante’s Inferno.

Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust . . . before the world is irrevocably altered.

To Anuradha Bose

I do not know whether you have even read the book or are sounding like one of those critics who have unknowingly badgered about the book.It seems you need to know how to write rather than advise others regarding Dan Brown's recent novel.

First of all you have mentioned tom and jerry in your abysmal review.even a child knows the outcome in a tom and jerry episode.Dan brown writes thrillers where readers hold their breath till the last chapter to know the end plot.

Secondly as all my flipkart...

Good one, But not Dan Brown's Best! Koz Langdon needs some rest!

One awesome thing about Dan Brown is that, He makes his readers want to go to all the places he so beautifully describes in his books.
It was Paris in the Da Vinci Code, then The Vatican City in Angels and Demons, the DC Capitol Building in The Lost Symbol and now, Florence and Venice! His magic is captivating.
If you're a previous reader, you would want to love to have that magic continued. And if you're a newbie in the world of Dan Brown, brace yourself to get thrilled!
Now, here comes the...

Un-put-downable!

Now, finally, Dan Brown has achieved redemption for The Lost Symbol. Inferno is not for the pedantic mindset of today. It has employed a Vito Corleone ideology in a magnanimous scale: profits of today are not necessarily the profits of tomorrow.

The book is a new chapter in the history of thriller on the basis of its very plot-line. The last 20 chapters just ridicule the very foundation that the first 80 chapters lay, and that too with elegance. Needless to say, Dan Brown's grasp on medieva...

Brown's Most Mature Writing till Date..

well a dan brown title certainly creates a little buzz before its release..but the question that lingers now is that is the book really worth the hype n buzz it generates?..well the answer in this case is certainly yes...i fell in love way back in 2008 with the character langdon when he first appeared in da vinci code and the writer compelled me to love him again in the brilliant Angels and demons that followed...but he kind of killed it with the dissapointing The Lost symbol..but still i pre...

Great climax and a good book but nowhere near Dan Brown's best (Da Vinci Code)

The book is great. Although people say that they have read it real fast in virtually 2 to 3 reads (this is definitely not a 1 read book, more for its length than quality) I think its not that interesting. It starts off well till about the few 4-5 chapters but in the middle is very slow and the plot is dragged till 2/3rds of the book is over. It is only then that the real thrill starts and you just cant put the book down. The last third of the book is splendid.

That said, its not that the boo...

Stupendo

Completed Inferno by Dan Brown.
In one word, Stupendo!!!
There can’t be an iota of doubt about the Brownian Style of storytelling.
He creates a web like a spider with lots of information which is a derivative of an extensive research and undoubtedly he is the best in that.
The whirlwind journey from Florence to Venice and finally Istanbul keeps you mesmerized and the sheer intelligence of the story teller to create a riddle and the solution of the same within the hard paperback cover will kee...

Q:I'm pretty confused with the paperback thing. What actually is it? And is this going to be a book or something like epub, pdf etc..
A:It's going to be a book. Paperback just means that the book has hard cover and is bound by glue rather than stitched.
