Return to yet another thrilling adventure with Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon in Dan Brown’s exciting novel, Inferno.

    Summary of the Book

When Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon awakens in a hospital ward with no memory of the last few days, he realizes that his memory loss is the least of his concerns. He is in Florence, Italy, and Sienna Brooks, one of the doctors tending to him informs him that he had been shot. He must figure out why, and what the shooting has to do with the strange object he had been carrying. Dr. Brooks and Langdon have little time, they are being hunted by unknown pursuers and only Langdon’s knowledge of Florence’s hidden passageways can save them. Guided by a few lines from Dante’s Inferno, they must decipher a string of codes hidden in some of the most famous artefacts of the Renaissance, and find the answers to save the world. Once again Robert Langdon’s expert knowledge of symbols and history becomes the sole pillar upon which the world’s future rests in this rapid chase against time.

    To Anuradha Bose

I do not know whether you have even read the book or are sounding like one of those critics who have unknowingly badgered about the book.It seems you need to know how to write rather than advise others regarding Dan Brown's recent novel.

First of all you have mentioned tom and jerry in your abysmal review.even a child knows the outcome in a tom and jerry episode.Dan brown writes thrillers where readers hold their breath till the last chapter to know the end plot.

    Secondly as all my flipkart...

Good one, But not Dan Brown's Best! Koz Langdon needs some rest!

One awesome thing about Dan Brown is that, He makes his readers want to go to all the places he so beautifully describes in his books.
It was Paris in the Da Vinci Code, then The Vatican City in Angels and Demons, the DC Capitol Building in The Lost Symbol and now, Florence and Venice! His magic is captivating.
If you're a previous reader, you would want to love to have that magic continued. And if you're a newbie in the world of Dan Brown, brace yourself to get thrilled!
    Now, here comes the...

    Un-put-downable!

Now, finally, Dan Brown has achieved redemption for The Lost Symbol. Inferno is not for the pedantic mindset of today. It has employed a Vito Corleone ideology in a magnanimous scale: profits of today are not necessarily the profits of tomorrow.

The book is a new chapter in the history of thriller on the basis of its very plot-line. The last 20 chapters just ridicule the very foundation that the first 80 chapters lay, and that too with elegance. Needless to say, Dan Brown's grasp on medieva...

Really made me think about the topic used in the book!!

Inferno is yet another best by Dan Brown. Love his writing and how he creates a mysterious world with a lot of detail to the places Robert Langdon visits. The topic used in the book really made me think about the world crisis. would love to visit all the places described in the book.....instead of a travel guide i would take the book only with me!!! While reading the book i kept my mobile next to me to see the images of the places on the map as well as google images..Once you start reading yo...

    Repetitive, but thought provoking

Robert Langdon has been a busy man, but it seems his outings have been less gripping of late. With four books out now, the Dan Brown formula is becoming slightly predictable.
How the pretty yet flawed female companion always finds Langdon is the biggest mystery.
That said, once we give Dan Brown his literary license to formula, Inferno is a gripping enough read that is guaranteed, if not to send your adrenaline pumping, at least to keep you turning pages. There are even fleeting moments when...

    Better than the Lost Symbol

I ordered the book on 26th June and received it the next day. Flipkart as usual amazing service!

    About the book:
After the Lost Symbol, which was lame, in my opinion (and seemed to have been written only to please the Vatican), Inferno is a good read, though not as thrilling as Angels and Demons (my personal fav among Dan Brown's novels).

If you've read enough thrillers, you'd more or less start to guess the 'surprises' a little ahead.

If you've liked dan brown's earlier novels (except ...

Q:I'm pretty confused with the paperback thing. What actually is it? And is this going to be a book or something like epub, pdf etc..
A:It's going to be a book. Paperback just means that the book has hard cover and is bound by glue rather than stitched.
