Inorganic Chemistry, Part II (English, Paperback, unknown)
This textbook carries further the systematic presentation of the fundamentals of inorganic chemistry. On the basis of a detailed study of the periodic law and the theory of electrolytic dissociation an overview is given principally of the important properties of elements and their compounds belonging to the nitrogen and carbon subgroups; the general properties of metals of the main and subsidiary subgroups of the periodic system of elements are also covered. A major merit of the text is its accessible but profound presentation of the general principles of the chemical engineering and their exposition from the examples of the hydrolysis of salts; the production of ammonia nitric acid artificial fertilisers and of silicates; and the electrolysis of alloys of various metals. The textbook contains tasks and exercises for students descriptions of laboratory work and of practical work.
